A unique opportunity to join a leading marina operator as a Marina Assistant Manager in the beautiful coastal town of Poole! Our client operates multiple marinas in the UK and abroad, providing premium berthing and boatyard services. They seek a dedicated and passionate individual focused on delivering superb customer service.
The main responsibilities of the Assistant Manager include:
1. Ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of all marina operations; coordinating, allocating, and monitoring the marina team’s work and activities.
2. In conjunction with site teams, ensuring daily, weekly, and monthly checks are completed on time, maintaining safety, security, cleanliness, tidiness, and landscaping standards.
3. Overseeing the Administration team to ensure task completion and adherence to debt processes.
4. Leading the team and supporting marina and boatyard administration to maintain accurate records, maximize revenue, and ensure payments for services are received according to guidelines.
5. Maintaining the site’s overall image and operations to reflect the company’s market-leading position.
6. Ensuring compliance with all legal, HSE, and company policies, including financial policies.
7. Building and developing an empowered, motivated team that provides excellent customer service and site coverage.
The ideal candidate:
* Has experience in the yachting industry or within a marina (preferred but not mandatory).
* Possesses strong team leadership skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
* Has experience with operational processes and health and safety management.
* Can handle customer feedback professionally.
