Overview
Paragon Home Healthcare is seeking a lively, cheerful Live-in Carer to support a lady with a spinal cord injury who is partially paralysed. The client resides independently in a well-equipped, adapted home in the Aylesbury HP19 area. She is supported by two live-in carers who work collaboratively to provide consistent care while ensuring each carer has ample rest and support.
The role may involve travel with the client, including accompanying her overseas to visit family once a year. The carer will also assist with driving the client to local appointments, shopping, and outings. This opportunity is suitable for someone who values care and companionship in a fulfilling role.
With this client, you will engage in a two-week live-in assignment, followed by a two-week rest period. After the rest period, you have the option to work with another client for one week. If eligible, you can join our standby rota, working conveniently from home. Comprehensive training is provided to support your success in the caregiving role.

Pay rate: £142.07 per day

Live-In Care Job Overview
As a Carer (often referred to as a Personal Assistant), you will assist the client with daily care, activities of daily living, and mobility needs. Duties are detailed in the client\'s care plan and managed through our electronic visit system. Responsibilities include personal care, spinal injury toileting, mobility support, meal preparation, and more. Comprehensive training and support are provided to ensure you can deliver the necessary care.
