Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for Room Attendants to join our hardworking Housekeeping team at The Fish, one of the award-winning hotels on Farncombe Estate. Our 500-acre Estate is set on a beautiful hillside just above Broadway and is the perfect place to develop and learn.
We are offering various Housekeeping roles (on permanent contracts):
* 15 hours per week, 3 days per week (very flexible on timings)
* 24 hours per week, Friday-Monday (9:30am-4:00pm)
* 20 hours per week, 5 days (flexible) over the week (05:00am-09:00am)
* 25 hours per week, 5 days (flexible) over the week (10:00am-3:00pm)
* 40 hours per week, 5 days (flexible) over the week
Please note that these roles often include weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays.
Your responsibilities will include cleaning and presenting The Fish Hotel’s bedrooms. Our rooms include a variety of styles, from treehouses and cabins to shepherds huts and traditional hotel rooms, all designed in a contemporary yet cozy style.
The role is based around The Fish Hotel and involves weekend work. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred, but full training will be provided. We value a hardworking, positive attitude, attention to detail, and teamwork. Driving license is useful due to the spread-out accommodations.
We are members of the Hoteliers Charter, committed to respect, fairness, equality, diversity, and opportunity, with a focus on wellness and career development. Compensation is £12 per hour, with tips, meals on duty, and uniform provided. Pay increases to £12.20 after one year.
Benefits include:
* Pro-rata 30 days holiday per year, rising to 35 after 5 years
* Birthday lunch in one of the hotels
* Access to mental health support and employee assistance programs
* Wellbeing resources, discounts, estate benefits, and recognition programs
* Referral bonuses and shift premiums during holidays
* Low-cost healthcare plans and financial advice
* Career growth opportunities, including apprenticeships
Due to the rural location, own transport is required (WR12 7LJ). If interested, please get in touch to discuss this or other opportunities on our estate. We look forward to hearing from you.
We are committed to a respectful, fair, and inclusive workplace, prioritizing wellness and career development.
