Oversight Managers

6-month contract. Purpose of the role: As an Oversight Manager, you will ensure robust controls, governance, and assurance practices are embedded throughout the integration of Tesco Bank into Barclays, provide oversight across workstreams, lead the implementation of the Three Lines of Defence model, support compliance and audit readiness, and promote a culture of transparency and effective evidence management. What you'll do: Lead and coordinate control and assurance activities across the integration programme. Ensure consistent application of the 3 Lines of Defence model. Maintain oversight of RAID items, control registers, and key governance artefacts. Liaise with Barclays' 2nd Line Risk and 3rd Line Audit teams to ensure alignment and readiness for reviews. Provide clear, evidence-based reporting to senior stakeholders. Support the integration of Barclays' frameworks and standards, balancing compliance with LEAN delivery. Manage evidence and link it to management activities to ensure traceability and audit readiness. Promote a culture of compliance, control, and accountability across the team. The skills you'll need: Strong understanding of controls, assurance, and governance frameworks. Experience working within or alongside 2nd and 3rd line functions. Ability to interpret and apply risk frameworks in a practical, delivery-focused way. Skilled in reporting, documentation management, and stakeholder engagement.
