The role: Software Implementation Analyst (Junior to Mid-Level)
Location: Liverpool - Hybrid working
My client is seeking a Software Implementation Analyst to join a small IT implementation team within a global organization that offers excellent career development and training opportunities.
You will be responsible for delivering new software implementations, training users, and configuring software to meet specifications.
This position is suitable for recent IT graduates or those with previous software implementation experience.
Strong customer service skills are essential, as you will collaborate with customers to validate solutions and ensure user requirements are met.
Spanish language skills would be a significant advantage.
Role responsibilities:
* Engage with customers to understand their requirements and configure software accordingly.
* Coordinate user acceptance testing of configurations, validating software builds.
* Create training materials and conduct user training sessions.
* Resolve technical issues efficiently and test hardware/software components.
* Set up systems according to specifications, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
* Collaborate with internal teams.
* Demonstrate software functionalities.
* Assist in providing implementation estimates and project plans.
* Research and test off-the-shelf applications for vendor onboarding.
* Monitor vendor performance and report to management.
* Maintain standard implementation packages and training materials.
* Stay updated with software changes and new features.
* Support software deployment and upgrades.
This role may require travel within the UK and internationally for system implementations and training, with trips lasting from a few days up to six weeks.
Qualifications/Education:
* Degree or higher qualification; a Chemistry degree is advantageous.
Person Specification:
* Ability to work independently and within a team.
* Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
* Comfortable presenting to large audiences and senior management.
* Customer-focused with strong stakeholder relationship skills.
* Ownership and accountability for configuration and technical issues.
* Effective communication skills for business change and process explanations.
* SQL skills, including writing queries and executing simple updates.
