We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team.
The Restaurant Manager's responsibilities include maintaining the restaurant's revenue, profitability, and quality goals. You will ensure efficient restaurant operations, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
To be successful in this role, you'll need excellent management skills, social and communication skills. Excellent personal appearance is paramount. We want you to oversee the dining room, check-in with customers and balance seating capacity. Back of house management experience is also essential, as you'll hire Waiting Staff, set work schedules, make sure we comply with health and safety restaurant regulations.
You will deal with function and meeting enquiries, organise, and oversee the set-up and supervise on the day.
Responsibilities:
As the Restaurant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our reputation for excellence. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Team Leadership: Leading, training, and motivating our dedicated restaurant team to deliver outstanding customer service. Organise and supervise shifts. Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.
2. Time Management: Create staff rotas based on occupancy levels.
3. Operations Management: Overseeing day-to-day restaurant operations, including reservations, seating, and service coordination.
4. Quality Assurance: Ensuring the highest quality of food, beverages, and service standards are consistently met.
5. Guest Satisfaction: Striving to exceed guest expectations and promptly addressing any concerns or feedback.
6. Financial Management: Managing budgets, cost control, and achieving revenue targets.
7. Inventory and Stock Control: Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring efficient stock management.
8. Compliance: Adhering to health, safety, allergy, and hygiene regulations and hotel policies.
9. Teamwork: Coordinate daily Front of House and Back of House restaurant operations. Liaise with Front of House Manager and Head Chef.
Skills:
The ideal candidate will possess:
1. Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar role.
2. Proven customer service experience as a manager.
3. Strong leadership, motivational and people skills.
4. Strong organisational and time-management skills.
5. Exceptional problem-solving skills.
6. Proficiency in reservation and point-of-sale systems.
7. A passion for delivering memorable dining experiences.
8. Creativity and the ability to contribute to menu development.
