Position: Sous Chef
Location: City Centre
Salary: £38,000 - £41,000 per annum
Working Hours: 5 days out of 7, no split shifts
Contract: 40 hours per week
As a Sous Chef at our client located in the heart of the city centre of Cambridge, You will play a pivotal role in our culinary team. You'll have the opportunity to showcase your creativity, expertise, and leadership skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
·Assisting the Head Chef in menu development and culinary execution
·Overseeing food preparation and ensuring consistency in quality and presentation
·Managing kitchen staff and fostering a positive work culture
·Upholding health and safety standards at all times
·Contributing to a seamless dining experience for our guests
Requirements:
·Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a high-volume kitchen
·Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating exceptional dishes
·Leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and mentor kitchen staff
·Excellent organizational and communication skills
