About the Role:
1. Deliver engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3-5, including GCSE and A-Level Geography.
2. Develop and implement lesson plans that incorporate various geographical concepts and techniques, fostering students' knowledge and skills.
3. Facilitate student-led research projects, fieldwork, and presentations to enhance inquiry and communication skills.
4. Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and exams, providing constructive feedback.
5. Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring alignment with current geographical scholarship.
6. Organize extracurricular activities like geography clubs, field trips, and competitions to enrich learning.
Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in Geography or related fields.
* Extensive experience teaching Geography at GCSE and A-Level, covering physical and human geography.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate students.
