We are looking for a dedicated, proactive, and reliable administrator to join our team. You will play a vital role in enhancing our company by helping to provide a high level of customer service and ensuring office tasks are carried out in an efficient manner. You will embody our core behaviours of integrity, curiosity, warmth, and ambition. As a member of the Environment & Safety team, it is key that you are able to work independently, as well as working efficiently as part of a team.
The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
* Scheduling work for the Occupational Hygiene team based in the Midlands & North
* Communicating directly with our customers over email and phone
* Monitoring and updating spreadsheets used to track job progress
* Adhering to our standard operating procedures
* Assisting technical staff with formatting, completion and issue of reports to ensure deadlines are met
* Liaising with staff across different departments and building rapport
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
* Strong background in administration
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel & Outlook)
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Organisation, time management and attention to detail
About Environment & Safety
Our Environmental team is made up of many different specialists all operating within different areas of expertise. The main areas we cover are Environmental Monitoring & Consultancy and Occupational Hygiene, together with specialist laboratories to support our services. Our services range from on-site monitoring and sample collection, ranging from local businesses to large Government contracts, to consultancy works on large contaminated land projects, complimented with onsite works for dust, noise, and local exhaust emissions. We pride ourselves in our ability to consult, monitor and test for our clients, supporting all their needs in one place, using our highly trained employees.
