Overview
We’re recruiting for a Sous Chef to join a high-end events operation within a prestigious corporate setting. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with banqueting or events catering experience, looking to work in a structured, professional kitchen with a strong team and exciting daily variety.
Hours: Monday–Friday, typically 7:00am–3:30pm (flexibility required; some days may start earlier or finish later)
Responsibilities
* Prepare and deliver food for events ranging from 20 to 400 guests, including:
* Support the Events Kitchen, with occasional assistance in the Client Centre Kitchen when needed
* Manage and mentor Chef de Partie and Commis Chefs
* Help prepare for upcoming events and maintain high standards of Organisation
* Contribute to 4 major events annually
* Maintain a minimum 2 years’ experience as a Sous Chef
* Demonstrate a strong background in events or banqueting catering
* Remain highly organized, clean, and efficient
* Be a proactive communicator and reliable team player
* Show commitment, diligence, and passion with energy and drive
* Display flexibility and diligence
