BILLING ASSOCIATE MONDAY - FRIDAY - 37.5 HOURS PER WEEK, 9AM-5PM BASED: POLAR SPEED DISTRIBUTION LIMITED, 7 CHARTMOOR ROAD, SITE 2 LEIGHTON BUZZARD, BEDFORDSHIRE, LU7 4WG SALARY: £26K - £27K P/A - Dependant on experience Polar Speed has a reputation for quality, compliance, operational and customer facing technology and monitoring solutions in the growing temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical logistics market in the UK. The company specialises in active temperature-controlled deliveries to hospitals, pharmacies, wholesalers and medical care surgeries as well as to end patients which it serves through its homecare business. Its customers include some of the best known pharmaceutical brands in the world. We are now looking for a Billing Associate to join our busy accounts team at our Site 2 office in Leighton Buzzard. Working as part of the Finance & Accounts team, you will support in the production of all sales invoicing data and analysis reports. The position is on a Monday to Friday basis, 9am-5pm, however flexibility on start/finish times is required, especially around month end dates. The successful applicant will have excellent Excel and IT skills. For successful applicants, Polar Speed will process a basic disclosure criminal record checks. Key responsibilities: Invoicing daily, weekly, fortnightly as required. Printing from our in house Polar Track system any missing delivery notes from the PDA system. Remain vigilant at all times when emailing invoices to NHS Trusts, ensuring correct participant has been chosen thus avoiding any data breaches. Assist in invoicing consolidated accounts. Triage accounts email in box daily. Produce weekly sales analysis. Supporting with customer queries and resolutions. Key Skills/Experience/Requirements: Excellent IT skills, particularly Excel (minimum intermediate level required), Word, Teams, Outlook. Excellent attention to detail. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise your work load. Previous administration experience. Team player mentality with ability to work on your own initiative. Excellent communication skills both oral and written, with the ability to build effective working relationships. whilst appreciating the need for maintaining confidentiality.
