Our client, based in Portishead, is currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
The position is due to start in October on a part-time (25 hours) basis. The salary is £35,437pro rata (£52,448 FTE) and they are happy to offer a flexible hybrid working pattern, dependent on business needs.
The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Finance Business Partner and be confident challenging budget holders when required to ensure value for money across the business.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
1. Providing a timely, accurate and relevant business partnering service to budget holders and customers
2. Ensuring the delivery of monthly management reporting packs including commentary and detailed variance analysis
3. Providing a comprehensive proactive service to budget holders to assist and enable them to analyse, and investigate variances, and to suggest remedial actions
4. Promoting VFM across all financial decision making and analysis
5. Collating and producing quarterly forecasts, including the review and challenge of budget holder's assumptions
6. Assisting with the preparation of the annual Statutory Accounts for designated areas and ensuring all relevant balance sheet reconciliations are completed in a timely manner
Experience required:
7. Experience required in a Not-for-Profit setting is desirable but not essential
