An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Housekeeper role within the Inpatient and Outpatient Therapy teams currently based at HRI.
The postholder will support the clinical teams by ensuring that a high standard of cleanliness is maintained within treatment areas at all times. You will also help in the smooth running of the department by ensuring equipment is kept well maintained, and everything is at hand and well stocked to allow a high standard of clinical care to be delivered to patients. The role also includes some basic clerical tasks.
* To clear crockery, etc used outside routine clearing periods.
* To tidy sluice and linen storage areas as required.
* To tidy other areas, as requested by the departmental therapy manager.
* To run errands for patients and other members of staff.
* Cleaning of the old Hydrotherapy pool area.
* Cleaning of all treatment and assessment areas within the In and Out-patient Therapy departments.
* To tidy linen storage areas and to ensure a plentiful supply of linen at all times.
* Cleaning and checking of all returned crutches and mobility equipment to ensure that they are ready and appropriate to be issued to patients.
* Cleaning of all equipment both with the In and Outpatient areas.
