As Implementation Consultant, you will work as part of the joint home/client team helping clients transform their business processes, better supporting our customers through the delivery of their award-winning software.
What you’ll be doing day to day…
As a Consultant, your client facing responsibilities will include:
1. Running workshops, demos and showcases with client users and senior executives
2. Capture and analyse clients’ business/functional requirements and processes
3. Designing solutions for clients’ future state business operations
4. Prototype and configure our software to support the client ‘to-be’ business processes
5. Train customers on the software
6. Proactive communications including appropriate escalations of risks and issues
7. Travelling to client sites nationally and internationally
As part of the home delivery team, your internal responsibilities will include:
8. Working with the support team to prepare handover before Client is in Production
9. Working with the development and QA teams to support product design, development, and testing
10. Gather and document requirements for system enhancements working alongside our development and delivery team
11. Working with technical solutions consultants to provide functional context to system interfaces, solution architecture and data migration
12. Owning functional workstream(s) across one or multiple areas such as claims, accounting, product or policy.
13. Pro-active communications with colleagues
Profile
Who we’re looking for?
You will be a proactive client- facing software implementation specialist ideally from the insurance or finance sectors with a broad technical understanding and proven project experience within complex technical landscapes.
You will demonstrate:
14. Excellent business analysis and problem-solving skills
15. Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills including building consensus and demonstrating thought leadership
16. Ability to quickly build relationships and rapport with the project team (internally and externally) and convey confidence to our clients
17. Excellent written skills, including documenting business requirements clearly, concisely and to a high quality
18. Knowledge/experience of the implementation of APIs and / or system integrations (real-time, file based etc)
19. Experience in system integration of software to external 3rd parties
20. Configuration of digital applications to client needs
21. Strong presentation and oral communication skills ideally with experience in running workshop
22. Experience in training users in the use of software application(s)
23. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
It would also be great if you had:
24. SQL Database querying and reporting
25. Understanding of relevant technologies, particularly SQL and XML
26. Knowledge of accounting terminology and processes Experience of Cloud based implementations and migrations
27. Experience of business process redesign projects and business process modelling
28. Health insurance knowledge including knowledge of insurance Industry integration formats
29. Data analytics/mapping/migration
30. Experience of working in an Agile software development environment

Office location and useful info
Our International Division strives to be a non-hierarchical company, with a friendly, can-do culture where challenging work and talent is recognised and rewarded. We employ c.80 employees mostly based out of our office in Bristol, along with some consultants working in locations around the world from home or on client sites. We have recently moved into a brand new office within the Programme building at The Pithay in central Bristol. The office space has been designed and fitted out specifically to our requirements to ensure a highly functional, flexible and comfortable working environment, whether hot-desking, having stand-ups, or more formal/confidential meetings. There’s an NCP car park at the rear of the block and there’s great access to public transport routes with bus stops within a few steps of the building, the train station; Bristol Temple Meads is approx. 10-15 walk. There’s also secure bike storage and excellent showers to freshen up after a bike ride, gym class or run. We’re close to lots of restaurants, coffee shops, gyms and shops as well as being just a short walk from the Castle Park and Harbourside areas. We are a friendly team, with regular social lunch or after-work activities as well as work-related events; town halls or conferences, both in person and online. We have a smart casual dress code.
