Hays have partnered with a Japanese investment bank to appoint an experienced Technical Business Analyst to an initial contract to 31/03/27. Working as part of a tight-knit team across an ongoing Financial Crime andpliance System book of work, if you're a strong Business Analyst with a background in AML, transaction monitoring, and electronic/voicemunication systems and a strong eye for system diagnostics then we want to hear from you.

Rate: £700 - £750/day via Umbrella
Your new role and what you'll need to succeed
1. Lead the analysis, design, and rollout of AML andpliance technology solutions that support the firm’s Banking & Markets business.
2. Work closely withpliance, Legal, Operations, and technology teams to turn regulatory and business requirements into clear, practical specifications.
3. Take ownership of the full delivery process – from scoping and solution design through testing, UAT, implementation, and regular updates to senior stakeholders.
4. Partner with developers, architects, and external vendors to build reliable systems, resolve issues, manage data flows, and support upgrades and ongoing platform improvements.
5. Act as a key point of contact for the business, helping define acceptance criteria, tackling production issues, and continuously improving howpliance systems operate.
6. Experience in Symphony AI; Quantexa; Tradinghub; Nuix; and/or Behavox will be very highly regarded.
