Dovehaven offers a full range of care for residential and nursing needs, including long-term and respite care.
An exciting opportunity for a Registered Manager has arisen at Paradise House Home in Leyland. Paradise House is a purpose-built 39-bed home located on the west side of Leyland, close to shops, amenities, and surrounded by parkland. Residents receive individual personal or nursing care by highly trained staff in a warm, relaxed, and friendly environment. Staff work closely with residents to develop personalized care plans and encourage participation in activities aligned with individual interests and abilities.
We are seeking a caring, organized, and experienced Manager for this role.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Managing and developing high-quality services for residents
2. Leading and guiding the staff team
3. Fostering a culture of care and continuous improvement
4. Collaborating with residents and families to shape a center of excellence in person-centered care
5. Ensuring high standards of nursing care in accordance with CQC and NMC guidelines, managing staff appropriately, and maintaining smooth operations
Skills and Experience:
1. Self-motivated, resilient, and well-organized
2. Dependable and honest
3. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to meet residents' and the home's needs
4. Proven leadership, motivation, management, and staff development experience
5. Understanding of leadership responsibilities in social care
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Essential Skills:
1. Management experience within the sector
2. Leadership and mentoring skills
3. Enhanced DBS certificate required
