Role Overview & Responsibilities:
As a full-time teacher, you will be expected to:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum, ensuring lessons are engaging, differentiated, and meet the needs of all pupils.
* Assess, monitor, and record pupils’ progress regularly, using a variety of formative and summative assessment methods, to inform teaching and provide timely feedback.
* Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment that promotes respect, engagement, and high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively using established school policies and strategies, fostering a supportive atmosphere conducive to learning.
* Promote pupils’ social, emotional, and physical development, supporting their well-being and helping to build their confidence and resilience.
* Build strong relationships with pupils, parents/carers, and colleagues, communicating effectively to support pupils’ learning and progress.
* Collaborate with colleagues and school leaders in curriculum development, whole-school initiatives, and professional development activities.
* Contribute to extracurricular activities such as clubs, trips, and events, supporting a well-rounded education.
* Participate actively in school meetings, training, and appraisal processes to continually improve your teaching practice.
* Uphold the professional standards and ethos of the school, including safeguarding responsibilities and maintaining confidentiality.

Candidate Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching within the UK education system.
* Strong understanding and practical application of the National Curriculum.
* Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
* Passion for inspiring and motivating pupils of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
* Ability to differentiate learning and personalise teaching to meet pupil needs.
* Commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding practices.
* Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
* Resilience, adaptability, and a growth mindset.
