Job Title: Contract Manager (Single Site)
Location: South West London
Salary: Up to £70,000 + Benefits
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager with a strong technical background to take full responsibility for a single, high-profile site contract in South West London, with a P&L value of approximately £600k.
This is a hands-on leadership role, managing a team of 8 on-site staff and ensuring the smooth, efficient, and compliant running of the contract. You will combine operational leadership with technical oversight, acting as the key point of contact for the client.
Key Responsibilities
* Full ownership of contract performance, including service delivery, financials, and client satisfaction
* Manage, lead, and develop a team of 8 on-site employees
* Hold full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
* Provide technical oversight across site operations (engineering, maintenance, or building services)
* Ensure all services are delivered in line with KPIs, SLAs, and statutory requirements
* Maintain full compliance with health & safety and industry regulations
* Build and maintain strong client relationships
* Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency
* Manage subcontractors, staffing levels, and resource planning
* Resolve operational and technical issues quickly and effectively
Requirements
* Proven experience in a Contract Manager or similar role within a technical environment (e.g. facilities management, engineering, building services)
* Strong technical background (electrical, mechanical, or building services preferred)
* Experience managing P&L responsibility (circa £500k+)
* Demonstrable experience leading on-site teams
* Strong knowledge of compliance and health & safety regulations
* Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
* Commercially astute with strong financial awareness
* Proactive, organised, and solutions-focused
