Quality Lead Location: Aberdeenshire Salary: Competitive benefits Sector: Engineering / Subsea Technology A growing subsea technology business based in Aberdeenshire is seeking an experienced Quality Lead to take ownership of its integrated management systems and drive a strong quality culture across the organisation. This is a key position within a fast-growing SME, offering the opportunity to influence how quality is embedded across engineering, operations and supply chain functions. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining and developing the company's ISO 9001 Quality Management System, while supporting the wider integrated management system aligned with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. This role would suit a proactive quality professional who enjoys working in a collaborative engineering environment and takes pride in improving systems rather than simply maintaining them. Key Responsibilities * Lead and continuously improve the company's ISO 9001 Quality Management System * Support the integrated management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 * Plan and manage internal and external audits * Investigate and resolve non-conformances, implementing corrective and preventative actions * Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation * Develop and manage supplier quality processes * Work closely with engineering, operations and supply chain teams to embed quality from design through to delivery * Monitor and report on quality performance and improvement initiatives * Promote and strengthen a positive quality culture across the business Experience Required * Proven experience within a Quality Management or Senior Quality role * Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 * Experience working with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 within an integrated management system * Experience leading internal and external audits * Strong understanding of root cause analysis and corrective actions * Experience within engineering, manufacturing, subsea or energy sectors is highly desirable * Ability to influence stakeholders and drive improvements across teams The Opportunity This role offers the chance to join a growing engineering technology business where quality plays a central role in product delivery and operational excellence.
