Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to oversee site operations in Cheltenham. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and safety management, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies while driving productivity and quality on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
* Health & Safety Management – Ensure strict adherence to HSE regulations, risk assessments, method statements, and company safety procedures.
* Site Supervision – Manage day-to-day operations, coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
* Compliance & Quality Control – Ensure work is completed to the highest standards, meeting project specifications and deadlines.
* Team Leadership – Lead, motivate, and support site teams to achieve project goals efficiently and safely.
* Stakeholder Communication – Liaise with clients, project managers, and external inspectors to ensure seamless project delivery.
* Problem-Solving – Identify and resolve on-site issues, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
* Documentation & Reporting – Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, and safety documentation.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years of experience as a Construction Site Manager or similar role.
* Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
* First Aid at Work qualification.
* Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations in construction.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site activities.
