Press Brake Operator - Night Shift
We are currently seeking a Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team on a permanent night shift. This role would suit candidates with 1-2 years' experience in sheet metal fabrication or press brake operation.
Shift Pattern
* Monday to Thursday
* 4:00pm - 2:00am
* 1-hour lunch break
Salary
* Up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
* Setting and operating press brake machinery
* Working with Amada and LVD press brake machines
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
* Producing folded sheet metal components to specification
* Carrying out quality checks on finished parts
* Maintaining safe working practices and a clean work area
Requirements
* 1-2 years' experience operating press brake machinery
* Experience with Amada and/or LVD machines preferred
* Ability to read engineering drawings
* Good attention to detail
* Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes
* Reliable and able to work independently
