Role: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Diss, Norfolk
Hours: 06:00-18:00 (working 7 out of 14 days)
Pay: £40,000 per annum
We are looking for a mechanically biased engineer who is experienced in working within a manufacturing plant, covering both reactive and preventive maintenance.
We offer a salary starting from £40,000+, with 12-hour shifts over a 2-week period, working 7 days. The shift hours are 06:00-18:00.

Maintenance Engineer duties include:
* Understanding and executing startup and shutdown procedures
* Conducting checks and tests on plant and equipment as per the PPM Schedule or other sources
* Performing reactive electrical and mechanical repairs and servicing across the site
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
* Recording all work on the Planned Maintenance System
* Reading, understanding, and following machine manufacturer instructions and drawings
* Undertaking necessary training to update or enhance skills
* Training colleagues from other departments as required
* Being flexible and available for call-outs on plant breakdowns and covering absences, including overtime if needed
* Participating in plant shutdowns for maintenance or improvement projects
* Adhering to ISO 9001 Procedures and Work Instructions
* Working independently with minimal supervision when necessary
* Maintaining effective communication with colleagues and supervision
