Overview
We are hiring a skilled and driven Staff Writer with an interest in consumer technology to create great content that helps people make important buying decisions. The Staff Writer will write news, features and opinions on hi-fi, audio, TV and home cinema products, provide expert buying advice to readers worldwide, maintain Buying Guides, send newsletters and ensure coverage of critical shopping events such as Black Friday. The role requires excellent organisational and time-management skills, sharp writing ability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, ambitious and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
* Write news, features and opinions on hi-fi, audio, TV and home cinema products; provide expert buying advice to readers worldwide.
* Maintain Buying Guides and send newsletters.
* Ensure successful coverage of critical shopping events, such as Black Friday.
Qualifications
* Enthusiasm for hi-fi, TV and AV products and a love of all things home entertainment.
* Knowledge of the consumer technology market.
* Ability to explain complex subjects in a clear and entertaining way.
* Experience with SEO and e-commerce.
Compensation
The base pay range for this role is £27,500 – £30,000. This range is provided by Future. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Work arrangement
Hybrid role from London office, three days in the office and two from home.
