2026 Engineering Graduate
Start Date: 07 September 2026
Salary: £34,000 per annum
Location: Belfast

Working Schedule: Monday – Friday, 37 hours a week (8h Monday – Thursday, 5h Friday)

Graduate Programme
This 3‑year programme includes an optional rotation in year 3 around the country, allowing you to experience different parts of the engineering lifecycle. You will be assigned to new or existing programmes and work with other engineers to design and develop solutions that meet customer needs. Structured learning pathways and sponsorship by the Engineering Leadership team will fast‑track your development.
Requirements
Applicants should be on course to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in STEM. Eligible subject areas include:
* Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering
* Mechanical Engineering
* Software Engineering
* Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering
* Information Technology
* Mathematics
* Physics
* Systems Engineering
* Computing or Computer Science
* AI, Machine Learning and Cybernetics
* Other applicable technical or related degrees will be considered

Recruitment Process
Assessment centres for shortlisted candidates will run between February – May 2026. Induction week for all graduates and apprentices: 07‑11 September 2026.
Security Clearance
All roles are subject to security restrictions. Successful candidates must possess the permanent right to work in the UK and will be required to obtain full Security Clearance (SC) at BPSS level or above. SC clearance typically requires residence in the UK for the last 5 years.
