Crown Court Admin Officers are responsible for managing criminal digital files in preparation for hearings, including handling correspondence and general enquiries. The Crown office deals with enquiries from criminal justice agencies, solicitors, barristers, and the public via post, email, telephone, and face-to-face interactions. The role involves managing a range of serious criminal work and juror management. You will be assigned to teams performing various administrative duties to progress cases through the court/tribunal system or support other HMCTS functions.
Skills and Experience: With a friendly and approachable manner, you'll have excellent attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a desire to deliver proactive customer support via phone and email. You should be skilled in organizing your time, prioritizing tasks, multitasking, and adapting to various software packages. For more information, please refer to the attached job description. These roles are customer-facing, requiring office-based work to provide HMCTS services to the public. Standard hours are 37 per week, with flexible and part-time options considered, including a minimum of 22.2 hours per week.
