Accounts Assistant – Grimsby –£25,000 to £30,000
Chase & Holland are excited to be exclusively working alongside a fast-growing FMCG business, based in Grimsby, who are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team. This role will offer the candidate the chance to get hands on with the finance function and become a crucial part in plans to drive the business forward.

Accounts Assistant responsibilities will include:
* Raising and processing daily sales invoices, ensuring correct pricing
* Processing of credit notes and debit notes
* Checking, reconciling, and processing supplier bills
* Assisting with weekly cashflow and payment schedules
* Monitoring accounts receivables, allocation of customer receipts
* Weekly and monthly bank reconciliation
* Preparing statutory or regulatory forms as and when required
* Assist with preparing employee wages
* Managing employee expense claims
* Credit control management
* Helping finance colleagues in preparing and circulating periodic reports, including the monthly management information pack
* Undertake ad-hoc tasks as required by members of the finance team
Required Skills & Experience:
* Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing business would be a significant advantage
* AAT qualified is an advantage but not essential
* Highly numerate and organised
* Strong IT skills, including excel and ability to manage data
* Organised and flexible approach to work, with the ability to plan and prioritise
* Ability to build effective relationships with colleagues
