An exciting opportunity now exists for a First Line Support / Helpdesk ICT Technician to work closely within a team of other ICT Technicians in a busy Multi Academy Trust (MAT).
To support the ICT Manager and other ICT Technicians by assisting staff and students with the ICT systems within the Trust.
You should have good communication and telephone skills and be dedicated to providing a professional level of customer service. Clear and concise communication is essential, as you will be interacting with a variety of end users, including upper management.
You will guide teachers, students, and support staff in using ICT equipment to facilitate learning and help staff complete their tasks. You will also assist in training staff to enable effective teaching.
You will contribute to delivering ICT innovation and participate in the development and implementation of new educational technologies.
The role is for 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
Experience with SIMS (School Information Management System) would be a distinct advantage.
