Still at uni but looking for flexible work that actually means something?
We’re recruiting reliable and confident university students to work in local schools on a supply basis. It’s a brilliant way to build experience, earn weekly pay, and explore careers in teaching, psychology, SEND, or youth work before graduating.
What does supply work involve?
Schools contact us when they need last-minute cover, so you’ll receive calls between 7am and 9am asking if you’re available to work that day.
Because of this, you must be:
* Available at least 3 days per week
* Comfortable with early morning calls
* Happy travelling to local schools
* Reliable and ready to jump into different environments
You could be:
* Supporting pupils in class
* Helping children stay focused and engaged
* Working 1:1 with pupils who need extra support
* Assisting teachers throughout the school day
* Building confidence and classroom experience
Why uni students love supply:
* Flexible work around studies
* Valuable experience for future careersDifferent schools and age groups to explore
* School holidays off
* No two days feel the same
No school experience? No problem.
If you’ve worked in hospitality, retail, coaching, childcare, or customer service, you already have transferable skills schools love.
Thinking about a full-time role after uni?
Lots of schools start planning September staffing early, and supply work is one of the best ways to get your foot in the door.
You’ll gain classroom experience, build relationships with schools, and put yourself in a strong position for future long‑term opportunities.
