Overview
Band 3 Clinical Services Administrator - Bristol role at Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust. This is a full-time post, 9:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, providing administrative support to the CAMHS Getting Advice team, receiving and processing referrals into the service and supporting the clinical team in their work with young people. Please note that we cannot provide sponsorship for this role.
Responsibilities
* Handle telephone calls and communications with service users, carers, GPs and other clinical staff.
* Type patient related correspondence and emails; book and rearrange appointments; input accurate and up-to-date patient data on electronic systems.
* Arrange, attend and take minutes of meetings; create and send client letters on behalf of clinicians.
* Manage clinician diaries, answer phones and act as a point of contact for enquiries from service users, families, health professionals, education, social care and police.
* Process all referrals into the CAMHS service; provide cover for colleagues when necessary; work within a team to deliver high-quality customer service.
* Demonstrate commitment to care quality and performance delivery; be a flexible team player with problem-solving abilities; able to work independently.
* Use MS Office packages with ease; comfortable working in a dynamic environment with multiple electronic systems.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Motivated, reliable and experienced Band 3 Administrator.
* Excellent communication skills and a broad range of administrative skills.
* Calm, approachable manner; capable of handling challenging calls related to ongoing mental health issues.
* Ability to work under supervision of the lead administrator and within an existing admin team (1 Band 4 lead administrator and 3 Band 3 administrators).
* Experience with electronic patient systems; aptitude for processes.
* Strong teamwork, collaboration, and a proactive approach to workload management.
