NSB Recruitment are working in partnership with a leading environmental consultancy to recruit an enthusiastic and driven Environmental Technician to join a growing specialist team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of contaminated land investigations and environmental incident response work across the UK. This home-based position offers the chance to work on a diverse range of projects, primarily focusing on domestic oil spills and the subsequent development of effective remediation strategies. Key Responsibilities: Responding to environmental incidents in both commercial and rural settings Carrying out contaminated land investigations and developing remediation strategies Conducting environmental monitoring and sampling of soil, water, and air Preparing clear and concise technical reports for clients Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams to provide effective technical responses Supporting health & safety best practice through risk assessments and on-site management Managing waste and ensuring full Duty of Care compliance Maintaining equipment and managing stock levels Incident response and occasional stay-aways as required About You: We’re looking for a self-motivated and solutions-driven individual with a strong work ethic and the flexibility to travel across England, Wales, and occasionally Scotland.
