About the Role We are seeking an experienced Project Surveyor or Senior Surveyor to join our commercial team on a significant large‑scale residential development in Suffolk. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven surveying professional to play a key commercial role on a flagship project, working with an established and supportive team. You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day commercial management of your allocated packages, providing accurate cost control, procurement, forecasting, and subcontractor management. As a senior member of the team, you will also contribute to commercial strategy, risk management, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities * Manage all commercial aspects of assigned residential packages * Procurement of subcontractors and materials in line with programme requirements * Conduct valuations, cost reporting, and forecasting * Manage subcontract accounts, variations, and payment processes * Work closely with the operational team to ensure cost‑effective delivery * Support the commercial lead with project financial strategy and risk management * Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and commercial best practice * Build strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams About You * Experience as a Project Surveyor or Senior Surveyor within residential construction * Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail * Proven ability to manage multiple work packages * Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills * Able to work proactively and independently within a team environment * Degree‑qualified in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent), or significant relevant experience * Experience on multi‑unit residential schemes is highly desirable What We Offer * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunity to work on a major residential development * Career development and progression within a growing business * Supportive team culture and professional working environment How to Apply If you are a commercially minded Surveyor looking for the next step in your career, we’d love to hear from you
