Job Description
The Accounts Payable Senior duties will include:
3. Process and verify a high volume of supplier invoices with accuracy.
4. Reconcile vendor statements to ensure all discrepancies are resolved promptly.
5. Maintain and update accounts payable records in the accounting system.
6. Assist in preparing payment runs and ensuring adherence to company policies.
7. Respond to supplier inquiries regarding payments and outstanding invoices.
8. Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice-related issues.
9. Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
10. Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable Senior should have the following experience/qualities:
11. Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role.
12. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
13. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
14. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
15. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
16. Strong communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
