Job Description for SEN Service Support Role
We are seeking a dedicated individual to provide business and administrative support to the Special Educational Needs (SEN) Service. The role involves ensuring compliance with corporate procurement, invoicing, and supplier payment processes, as well as offering financial support and advice to customers and providers.
Main Responsibilities
1. Financial Management: Maintain financial systems, create requisitions, process payments, and assist managers with budget management in accordance with regulations.
2. Request Handling: Manage service requests from various channels, prioritize tasks, and escalate complex issues to senior staff as needed.
3. Data and System Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and quality of financial and administrative data, maintaining proper controls for accessibility and compliance.
4. Communication: Respond to internal and external inquiries with sensitivity, providing accurate advice aligned with policies and regulations.
5. Performance and Improvement: Monitor team performance, suggest improvements, and support the achievement of service and corporate goals.
6. SLA Management: Assist in monitoring Service Level Agreements (SLAs), processing payments, and managing statistical reporting.
7. Reporting: Support the preparation and analysis of work statistics and year-end reports.
8. Legislation Awareness: Keep updated on legislation related to special educational needs and disabilities.
9. ICT Support: Provide ICT assistance, including testing and implementing new systems and upgrades.
