Your Role as a Nursery Practitioner
As a Nursery Practitioner, your main duties will include:
* Creating stimulating and purposeful experiences for children, tailored to their age and development.
* Ensuring compliance with the statutory framework for the EYFS.
* Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery.
* Supporting the smooth operation of the nursery and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and families.
* Building professional relationships and reporting any concerns to management.
* Facilitating a strong key person approach to help children form secure attachments.
* Participating in regular team meetings to stay updated on key priorities and company policies.
Requirements and Skills
* Full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification – essential.
* Fluency in written and spoken English – essential.
* Over 1 year of experience in Early Years – desirable.
* Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements – desirable.
