Business Development Manager – Oxford We’re looking for a proactive and ambitious Business Development Manager to join our team in Swindon. What You’ll Do Identify, target, and convert new business opportunities across the B2B market Build and grow relationships with key stakeholders across your customer base Proactively introduce new manufacturers, technologies, and service offerings to clients Engage in regular customer visits to understand needs, present solutions, and strengthen partnerships Work closely with internal teams — Commercial, Customer Service, Finance, Operations — to ensure a seamless customer experience Use market intelligence and historical data to build strategic account plans Manage the full sales cycle including proposals, negotiations, and closing deals Support in driving vendor engagement and representing the business at events when required What You Bring At least 12 months proven experience in Business Development, Field Sales, or B2B Account Management. Experience in the IT channel desired. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills Confidence presenting to customers and engaging with senior decision-makers Resilience, drive, and the ability to deliver results in competitive markets Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities at once A proactive, self-motivated approach and a desire to grow within a dynamic sales environment Must have a driving license Why You’ll Love It Here Competitive salary £40k-£43k commission and car allowance.
