The role
You will provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support, including booking meetings, managing diaries, and maintaining high-quality client files. You will handle the preparation and management of legal documents such as Wills, Trusts, Probate, and Powers of Attorney, and play a key role in estate and trust administration, ensuring that all obligations are met. Your responsibilities will also involve supporting the legal and wealth management teams in providing tailored advice to clients on inheritance tax, trusts, and capital gains tax matters.
Additionally, you will assist the Tax Manager with administrative duties and contribute to the upkeep of accurate office systems and procedures. Strong communication skills are essential in maintaining professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and third parties, while managing multiple tasks, prioritising workloads, and upholding confidentiality. Your focus is always on delivering efficient support and ensuring that clients receive a consistently high level of service.
Requirements
* Proven background as a legal assistant/secretary with excellent knowledge of wills and probate processes.
* Strong attention to detail and awareness of compliance and regulatory considerations.
* Commitment to strong internal controls and driving process improvements.
