Grounds Maintenance Operatives
Location: Newcastle
Hourly Rate: £12.21
Contract type: Full-time, seasonal - 5 months fixed-term contract
Working hours: Monday - Friday 07:00-16:30
About the role
We currently require a Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join our team in Newcastle to support over the busy summer season. You will keep several local housing association sites in a wonderful condition for our client through grass cutting, strimming, hedge pruning, flower bed maintenance, spraying, and more.
This is a great opportunity to develop your skills, gain valuable experience, and grow with us in a friendly and encouraging environment.
Requirements
* Can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset.
* Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
* Previous Grounds Maintenance experience is required and experience of using related grounds maintenance tools and equipment, including pedestrian and ride on mowers, strimmers and leaf blowers.
* A full valid UK driving licence is essential.
* Herbicide/PA1 and PA6 licences are an advantage, but not essential.
