We have an exciting new career opportunity for a Quality Improvement Manager to join our QA / Regulatory Affairs team at the Randox Science Park in Antrim Town. This is a key role within our Quality Team and the successful candidate will be responsible for the management of the Randox Quality System to current quality standards and to actively seek improvement areas.

Contract Offered: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours / Shift: 4 x 10 hour days per week. Mostly Monday to Thursday.
What does this role involve?
* Develop and implement policies to ensure compliance with national and international quality regulations and harmonised standards, including PRRC and legal manufacturer activities with competent bodies.
* Monitor and communicate standards created or maintained by external bodies and integrate them within the internal quality management system.
* Develop a team to proactively seek risk areas and implement process improvements accordingly.
* Fulfil role as Management Representative for all current quality standards.
* Maintain the Randox quality manuals.
* Contribute to executive policy and strategy.
* Organise the quality management review meetings.
* Monitor quality performance according to agreed standards and take necessary action to communicate, advise and assist according to performance levels.
* Promote quality awareness throughout the company.
* Conduct internal and supplier quality system audits.
* Work with accreditation bodies, registration bodies, and customer audits, coordinating follow‑up on corrective action requests.
* Develop and maintain a communication strategy for the improvement and awareness of quality issues across all departments.
* Ensure control of the master documentation system and quality records.
* Review product specifications and standard operating procedures.
Essential Criteria
* Educated to degree level or possess relevant experience in a similar role.
* At least 3 years’ experience in quality systems.
* Excellent leadership skills.
* Strong systems experience.
* Highly self‑motivated.
Desirable
* Experience in the diagnostics sector.
* Managerial experience.
* Audit qualifications or audit experience.
* Good knowledge of relevant directives and standards.
