Audit Senior

A long-established and growing accountancy practice is seeking to recruit an Audit Senior to join their Manchester office.
This role offers the opportunity to work with a broad portfolio of clients across a variety of sectors, delivering high-quality audit services and supporting the development of junior team members.

What you'll be doing
* Planning, performing, and completing external audits for small and medium-sized companies and charities
* Training, supervising, and reviewing the work of assistants
* Supporting and reporting to the audit manager
* Preparing financial statements for charities and SMEs as part of audit engagements (if desired)
* Preparing corporation tax calculations (if desired)
* Undertaking ad-hoc assignments, which may include working across other offices, FDD, cashflow forecasts, and other special projects
What they're looking for
* At least 12-24 months' experience in a similar role
* ACA or ACCA qualified (preferable)
* Strong communication skills, with confidence in liaising with clients, managers, and assistants
* High attention to detail and strong technical ability
* A proactive approach and a desire to learn and develop further skills
