Location: UK (Remote) Role title: Content Writer Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 About the Role: We are seeking a talented and creative Content Writer to join our marketing team. In this role, you will craft compelling, high-quality content that aligns with our brand voice and supports our marketing objectives. From long-form blog articles and website copy to case studies, email campaigns, and content for product and app launches, you’ll be a key player in driving our storytelling efforts. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for uploading content to our websites to ensure it’s up-to-date and engaging for our audience. Core Responsibilities: Content Creation: Research, write, and edit engaging content across multiple platforms, including blogs, websites, media, newsletters, case studies, etc. Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, SEO, and design teams to create content strategies and calendars that align with our objectives. Brand Consistency: Ensure all content adheres to the company’s brand guidelines, tone of voice, and SEO best practices. Content Editing: Proofread and edit content for grammar, clarity, and accuracy, ensuring high-quality output. Research: Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to support content development and maintain content relevance. SEO Optimization: Optimize existing content for SEO, focusing on improving content performance and visibility. Stay Updated: Keep up to date with content trends, best practices, and developments in digital marketing. Content Calendar: Maintain and contribute to the content calendar by producing content that resonates with our target audience and delivers genuine value. Launch Support: Manage content related to product and app launches, ensuring timely completion and approval of launch-related materials. Success Measures: Content Quality: Deliver content that is error-free, engaging, and informative while adhering to brand guidelines. SEO Performance: Contribute to improved SEO performance by optimizing content and writing for key SEO pages. Content Output: Produce consistent, high-quality content in line with the content calendar and deadlines. Research and Insight: Provide well-researched, accurate, and relevant information to support content creation across multiple platforms. Launch Support: Ensure content related to product and app launches is completed and approved on schedule, and maintain accurate AppStore and third-party listings. Skills, Competencies & Qualifications: Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience as a content writer, copywriter, or in a similar role (portfolio required). Excellent Writing Skills: Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail. B2B SaaS Experience: Familiarity with content creation in a B2B SaaS environment. SEO Knowledge: Understanding of SEO principles and tools (e.g., Surferseo, SEMrush, Ahrefs). Research Skills: Ability to translate complex topics into clear, easy-to-understand content. Time Management: Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (preferred). Nice to Have: Spanish Language Skills: Ability to write or edit content in Spanish. Brand Management Experience: Understanding of brand guidelines and content alignment strategies.
