About the Role
Whether this role represents a step up or a move across, you will be motivated not only to meet Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards and legislative requirements, but to exceed them. Your responsibilities will also include:
* Creating an open, inclusive and positive environment for residents and colleagues
* Always placing the rights, wellbeing and dignity of individuals first
* Overall responsibility for the smooth running of the home, including operations, health & safety, health and personal care, and financial management
* Leading, inspiring and developing a close‑knit team to deliver outstanding care and hospitality
* Ensuring the home's dining experience, environment and grounds are welcoming, safe and well maintained
About You
You will be an inspirational leader and proven manager with a strong background in a care home environment. You will bring:
* Confidence, resilience, energy and compassion
* A strong commitment to resident comfort, happiness and safety
* A natural ability to nurture, motivate and develop your team
* A drive to achieve excellent outcomes for residents, colleagues and the wider home.
The successful candidate will be subject to the provision of satisfactory references and a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, and they must be authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
