The role
As an Operations Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This is a dynamic role focused on equipping the delivery team with the right people, tools, and processes to reliably achieve planned outcomes.
Day-to-day, you’ll handle weekly production reporting, lead customer meetings, and oversee risk and opportunity management and control. You’ll also:
* Delivery of programme communications
* Allocating resource efficiently to deliver programme outputs
* Continually tracking output against plan
* Continually looking 4 weeks in advance for available resource/capacity vs plan and reacting to misalignments
* Where behind plan making decisions how to recover, mitigate and flag risk upwards
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with days in the office/onsite and days working from home.
Essential experience of the Operations Manager:
* Experienced user of the JAMES fleet management tool
* Competent in the use of SAP ERP system, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office
* Ability to work collaboratively with functional departments to deliver an effective and efficient level of customer service
Qualifications for the Operations Manager:
* Educated to Level 4 in National Qualification Framework (NQF) as a minimum (Higher apprenticeship, HNC, Level 4 NVQ) or equivalent workplace experience
