Commercial Partnerships Lead – 9N Limited Location: Manchester, UK
9N Limited is on a mission to redefine the future of sustainable materials. Our breakthrough platform transforms non-recyclable plastics into next-generation solutions such as graphene and carbon black for electronics, energy, automotive, steel and space-tech industries.
As we enter a pivotal phase of growth, we’re looking for a Commercial Partnerships Lead – a visionary professional with the credibility, drive, and commercial instincts to turn innovation into impact. You’ll be at the forefront of scaling our technology into real-world applications, building the strategic alliances that power adoption and growth.
This is a rare opportunity to join an ambitious deep-tech venture just as we are closing our seed investment round, with equity on the table and a clear path to evolve into a C-suite leadership role.
Your Role:
* Report directly to the CEO and work alongside the founding team to set the strategy for scaling partnerships and revenue
* Identify, engage, and secure strategic alliances with manufacturers, distributors, and industry leaders
* Act as the primary bridge between our technical teams and the market, translating complex capabilities into clear, compelling value propositions
* Build a pipeline of high-value partners and customers across sectors including automotive, electronics, energy, and construction
* Shape go-to-market plans, commercial models, and pricing strategies that drive adoption and scale
* Stay ahead of the market, anticipating trends and spotting opportunities before competitors
* Champion the transfer of our technology from lab to factory floor to commercial success
What You Bring:
* Deep technical literacy in advanced materials, manufacturing processes, or cleantech (engineering, scientific, or industrial background strongly preferred)
* A track record of developing high-impact B2B partnerships, negotiating complex deals, and driving revenue growth
* The confidence to engage with executive decision-makers and the skill to translate technical detail into business value
* Experience navigating supply chains and product integration in demanding industrial environments
* A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the credibility to inspire trust and build lasting relationships
* Right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
* Ideally Manchester-based or able to travel regularly
