Warehouse Operatives (Temp ongoing) Luton, Bedfordshire £12.24 an hour Working Hours: Monday-Friday 2pm 10pm We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operatives on a Temp-Perm basis for our client based in Luton to start asap. These are excellent opportunities with genuine permanent contracts offered and progression and development encouraged within the company. Key Responsibilities of a Warehouse Operative: Safely stacking and unstacking large quantities of goods onto shelves or pallets Cable cutting, always ensuring awareness of product range Wrapping and stackingpallets Physically fit, with the ability to confidently lift up to 25kg Basic data entry duties Counterbalance and Flexi forklift licenses would be an advantage Using industrial plastic wraps and wooden pallets to safely stack and package goods for transport Awareness of Health & Safety practices within the warehouse Any other general warehouse duties as required Key Skills of a Warehouse Operative: Positive can do attitude and work ethic Eager to learn and progress Great working attitude and attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines Numerical and literacy skills Excellent communication skills with a full understanding of written and spoken English Excellent attendance and timekeeping Benefits of a Warehouse Operative: 22 days paid holiday for first two years then rising by a day per year up to a maximum of 25 days -plus 8 bank holiday days.
