The Senior Product Manager reports to the Head of IT and leads the new Product division of the IT department.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Product Manager's responsibilities focus on the development, continuous improvement, and maintenance of bespoke IT Products developed in-house by Partners. The Senior Product Manager collaborates closely with the Systems and Training team, which handles the implementation, ongoing improvement, and maintenance of externally provided systems and interfaces. Responsibilities are divided based on the element of IT infrastructure each team manages.
The Senior Product Manager's key responsibilities include:
* API Management:
o Implement infrastructure and processes to ensure API efficiency, responsiveness, and high availability.
o Develop and manage the API roadmap.
o Coordinate with App, Website, and other product owners for alignment.
o Manage development resources to deliver the API roadmap on time and within budget.
o Work with Operations to support API functionality and performance.
o Ensure API compliance with Data Protection and Information Security standards.
o Maintain API documentation for effective integration.
o Implement and oversee version control.
o Build an internal development team when needed.
* Product Delivery:
o Engage with users to identify opportunities for innovation.
o Define requirements and develop business cases for new products.
o Plan and budget projects.
o Manage development teams to deliver functionalities.
o Collaborate across teams to ensure product success.
o Prioritize and define product requirements aligned with business and customer needs.
o Maintain and improve bespoke products continuously.
o Implement feedback mechanisms for ongoing improvement.
o Partner with Commercial teams for go-to-market strategies and messaging.
o Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new ideas.
* Strategic IT Projects:
o Oversee major IT projects, including external interface rollouts like Clinic Letters to Seamless Practice Management.
* Seamless Practice Management Support:
o Assist in maintaining and expanding interfaces.
o Support external collaborations for interface improvements.
* IT Leadership and Support:
o Support the Head of IT and team members, deputize when necessary.
o Develop project management skills across the team.
o Handle crises effectively.
o Mentor and train team members.
