Job purpose
We are seeking a motivated and charismatic individual to join our admissions team on a full-time basis. This role will primarily focus on student recruitment, engaging with prospective students from Africa and the Middle East. The ideal candidate will have sales experience, be willing to travel regularly to these regions, and be fluent in Arabic, with additional languages being desirable.
Beyond recruitment, this role involves maintaining strong relationships with recruited students and their families, ensuring a welcoming environment and a steady cohort of 25 students from Africa and the Middle East at Ashbourne.

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Actively recruit students from Africa and the Middle East, maintaining a cohort of 25 students.
2. Develop relationships with partners, agents, and schools for recruitment support.
3. Travel to target regions for recruitment activities.
4. Provide information about Ashbourne’s academic programs, admissions, and student life.
Relationship Management & Student Support
1. Maintain relationships with students and families from recruitment through enrollment.
2. Serve as the main contact point, offering support and guidance.
3. Coordinate with tutors and support staff to ensure student wellbeing.
4. Organize social and extracurricular activities.
Translation & Communication
1. Translate key documents and communications for Arabic-speaking stakeholders.
2. Assist with interpretation during meetings and events.
Administrative Duties
1. Maintain accurate recruitment records.
2. Support the application process and collaborate with the admissions team.
General Responsibilities
1. Participate in meetings, training, and events.
2. Build respectful relationships with colleagues, students, and families.
Person Specification
* Sales experience, preferably in education or recruitment.
