Who will you be working for? Skylark Lasers, based in Edinburgh, builds cutting-edge CW single frequency DPSS lasers, engineered for high-power precision in demanding applications like holography, metrology, Raman spectroscopy, and semiconductor inspection. Their patented, all-solid-state technology delivers compact, cost-effective lasers with outstanding power and wavelength stability. Fuelled by fresh investment and guided by a newly appointed CEO with a proven track record in laser systems, Skylark is now entering an exciting phase of global expansion. Ongoing initiatives in quantum sensing, quantum computing and specialist microscopy applications have significantly expanded the company's capabilities as a provider of complete photonic solutions for cutting-edge applications. What will you be doing? As their Global Sales Manager, you will be instrumental in scaling commercial operations, securing OEM partnerships, and driving multi-order contracts across a range of international markets. In this role, your focus will include: Leading all sales activities, managing the sales team and distribution channels, and ensuring alignment with company objectives and annual targets. Working closely with the Head of Marketing to align campaigns with sales goals and contribute to company-wide strategic planning. Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and agents through national and international travel and industry events. Developing sales reporting processes, preparing monthly performance reports for the Board, and managing forecasting, scheduling, and contract negotiations. Identify new product opportunities and business development initiatives to expand market presence and drive revenue growth. To thrive in this role, you will have A proven track record of delivering strong sales performance in a comparable B2B product environment, such as semiconductors, spectroscopy, bio-instrumentation or quantum technologies. The ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies that drive growth and performance. A strong technical or scientific background to support informed decision-making and collaboration The ability to take complex information and translate it into clear, actionable insights for teams and stakeholders. Willingness to travel globally to meet customers and represent the business at conferences/events.
