We're on the lookout for a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our kitchen team at our vibrant venue in Solihull.
Working closely with the Head Chef, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality, seasonal dishes and ensuring smooth day-to-day kitchen operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven chef ready to step up or take on a fresh new challenge in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
* Support the Head Chef in the daily running of the kitchen
* Lead the team in the Head Chef's absence
* Prepare and cook dishes to a high standard, consistently and efficiently
* Ensure food hygiene, cleanliness, and health & safety standards are upheld
* Assist with stock control, ordering, and supplier management
* Train and develop junior kitchen staff
* Contribute to menu planning and dish development
What We're Looking For:
* Experience as a Sous Chef ready to progress
* A passion for fresh, quality food and creative presentation
* Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
* A calm and organised approach under pressure
* Food Hygiene
* A good understanding of cost control, allergens, and kitchen compliance
