A highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to lead its residential conveyancing team.

Overview
* Overall responsibility for the residential property team as Head of Department
* Ensure efficient workflow management and high quality service delivery
* Drive sustained departmental growth
* Manage a reduced but varied caseload, including: Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, transfers of equity and re-mortgages
* Provide day to day supervision of the team
* Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans
* Ensure compliance with CQS and SRA standards
* Provide technical support and mentorship to junior fee earners
* Work closely with the Partners on: Departmental reporting, financial oversight and business development initiatives
The Candidate
* Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer
* Minimum of 3 years' residential conveyancing experience
* Proven experience supervising or leading a team
* Strong technical expertise across all aspects of conveyancing
* Confident managing client relationships
* Able to contribute to the firm's wider commercial strategy
* Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills
* Knowledge of the local property market and surrounding estates is highly desirable
