Are you a Multiskilled Engineer who can read 2D CAD drawings, looking for a stable, days-based role within an established industrial machinery company, working on bespoke engineering projects?
This UK engineering company designs and builds custom machinery to help manufacturers improve their production processes. Established in the 1970s, they have a strong reputation for reliable, well-built equipment and long-term customer relationships. They work with a wide range of industries, including packaging, paper, automotive, and general manufacturing, delivering practical, high-quality engineering solutions.
In this role you will build and assemble bespoke machinery, manufacture and prepare parts, and carry out fitting and repair work across a range of engineering projects. You will be involved in hands-on production, working from drawings and specifications, while supporting the full build process from initial fabrication through to final assembly and installation. Based in Witham - Mon-Fri - 7:45 - 16:15.
The role would suit a Multiskilled Engineer or Mechanical Fitter with 2D CAD drawing experience, looking for a stable, days-based role in a hands-on environment working on bespoke machinery.
The Role:
* Build and assemble bespoke industrial machinery
* Manufacture, prepare, and fit mechanical parts
* Carry out repair, maintenance, and fitting work
* Work from 2D CAD drawings and engineering specifications
* Work on varied, one-off projects across multiple industries
* Monday - Friday, days-based role (07:45 - 16:15), Witham
The Person:
* Multiskilled Engineer or Mechanical Fitter background
* Ability to read and work from 2D CAD drawings
* Experience building, assembling, or fitting machinery
* Commutable to Witham
